We at WISE·WISE promise to follow through with the policy below in all areas of our corporate activity including the offering of environmentally conscious products and services for the richer lives of modern day people, our children, their grandchildren of tomorrow, and for our beautiful planet.

1. We are dedicated to long term use

• We offer ageless design with focus on comfort.
• We actively offer repair/ reuse services so as to enable long-term use, We also promote product design that makes repair/ reuse easier.
• Items are tested for durability through load tests that apply more than double the load of ordinary tests in order to ensure long term use.

2. We choose safe materials and consider customer health

• We carry out product management that complies with sick house countermeasure policies including policies on formaldehyde.
  　※Products built overseas and other questionable products are analyzed by experts in order to confirm that they are below the guideline values of indoor concentration and to ensure use safety.

3. We do not destroy forests, we nurture them

• We give our utmost in using the following wooden materials.
  (Wood with clear country of origin and producer)
  (Domestic wood)
  (Wood with forest certification such as FSC)
• We give our utmost in avoiding use of the following wooden materials. (Wood with unclear country of origin or tree species or wooden material harvested through illegal logging) (Wooden material that was logged by destroying the ecosystem or materials made from wood of endangered species)

４. We address reduction of environmental burden

• We reduce energy consumed during production/ shipping as much as possible.
  Use of domestic wood translates to less energy consumed in production and shipping.
  ・We are actively involved in environmental conservation.
  ・We actively use natural materials such as wood, a recyclable resources.
  ・We commit to simple packaging of our products and use FSC certified mix products in our catalogues and wrapping paper.
